- Cook the bacon until crisp; Reserve bacon - drain fat except 1 tablespoon. Cook onion & peppers in the bacon fat. When soft, add blended Comstock Peach Pie Filling and Open Pit Original Flavor Barbecue Sauce. Simmer slowly 30 minutes; add reserved bacon.
- On grill, place chicken, skin side down. Cook uncovered, 45 min to 1 hour until tender and juices run clear. Turn and brush often with the prepared barbecue sauce during the last 30 minutes. Serve extra sauce on the side
